When you contact us through this Website in relation to employment opportunities at C&W, you may provide us with certain personal data which we will collect as part of the recruitment process. INFORMATION ON TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Law no.196/2003 on Treatment of Personal Data, we wish to inform you that the treatment of your data will be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency with the aim of protecting your privacy and your rights.
Specifically we would like to inform you of the following:
1. Personal Data Source
The personal data we treat are those you supplied when sending your curriculum vitae. All personal data are processed in accordance with Law no. 196/2003 and the privacy obligations underpinning any activities of our Firm.
2. Aim of the Data Treatment
The treatment is intended only to properly assess your job profile in order to ascertain if it could fit with any vacancy at Cushman & Wakefield LLP, as per your request.
3. How we Treat Data
The treatment is performed by means of operations or series of operations as per in Art. 4, paragraph 1, lett. a) of the Law, carried out with or without the aid of electronic or automated tools. The treatment is done by the Owner and those people in charge of data treatment designated for this purpose. The personal information you provide will be filed for a reasonable period of time and in any case not exceeding time lapse necessary for accomplishing the purposes referred to paragraph 2 above.
4. Data Supply Denial
Data supply is not mandatory; anyhow any refusal could result in the impossibility of a proper assessment of your job profile as per your request. Please do not provide in your CV any confidential data, i.e. data from which the following, as mere examples, may be inferred: racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, membership of political parties, unions, religious, philosophical or political associations or organizations or health status. Any confidential data will be immediately deleted by C&W.
5. Data Communication
Your personal data may be disclosed to those in charge of processing them and the Responsible of data treatment if any appointed. They may be disclosed for the purposes set forth in point 2 to third parties for outsourced activities or group
companies. The complete and updated list of the persons who have been disclosed your data can be requested to the data Owner.
The subjects belonging to external companies or entities to whom the data may be communicated will use these data as "owners" in compliance with the law, in complete independence, being unrelated to the original data treatment occurred in our Firm.
6. Data Dissemination
Your data may be disclosed for business or marketing needs through the internet, brochures, leaflets etc. respecting the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency.
7. Transfer of Data Abroad
The personal information may be transferred abroad to EU countries and to countries outside the European Union as defined by Articles. 42 and 43 of the D. Decree No. 196/2003, for business needs and for the purposes set forth under paragraph 2. These data will be handled in full compliance with the above regulations and confidentiality which underpin the activities of our Company.
8. Right of Access to Personal Data
We also inform you of the possibility to exercise, at any time, the rights recognized under art.7 of Law 196/2003 herein quoted in full:
Article 7 - Right of access to personal data and other rights
1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning him or her, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in an intelligible form.
2. The interested party has the right to be informed of:
a) the origin of personal data;
b) the purposes and methods of treatment;
c) the logic applied in case of treatment with the aid of electronic instruments;
d) the identity of the owner, manager and the representative appointed under article 5, paragraph 2;
e) the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who can learn about them as appointed representative, managers or agents at Country level.
3. The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) the update, amendment or, when interested, integration of data;
b) the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data which need not be kept for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
c) confirmation that the operations under letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.
4. The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even if pertinent to the purpose they were collected;
b) the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
